The free check
Three things in, your finding out. About ten minutes.
Nothing is filed and nothing changes. The check reads what you collected, what your provider filed, and what the marketplaces say they remitted, and shows you where they disagree.
What comes back
One page: by state and month, what you collected, what was filed, and the difference with its cause. Filed twice, over-filed, a return missing, a state you should be registered in.
Where a marketplace’s own record proves it remitted the tax, the line says so. Where Pursor cannot read a record yet, the line says “not checked” rather than a figure.
You can take the finding to your provider or to the state’s refund process yourself. If you want Pursor to file from here, it is $50 a return, from the next return, state by state.
An example finding, as it lands
A skincare brand, 17 months
44 states. The provider’s returns against Shopify’s orders and three marketplaces’ own records. Figures are illustrative.

What to do with each line is written under it on the full page: the refund route for the state, or the registration to make. Nothing here has been sent anywhere.
